Why join LF Pathway Solutions

Training that counts

Full induction, safeguarding, first aid, de-escalation and trauma-informed practice — funded, with routes into diplomas.

Shifts that fit

Full-time, part-time, bank and night options. We build rotas around consistency for young people and life outside work.

Real support

Regular supervision, reflective practice and an out-of-hours escalation route — you are never on your own with a decision.

Work that matters

Small teams, low caseloads and the time to build the kind of relationships that actually change outcomes.

Roles we recruit for

Vacancies come up regularly in Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Stockton, Sunderland and Durham. Send us your details and we'll be in touch when something suits you.

Full-time, part-time or bank

Support Worker

Day-to-day relationship-led support for young people aged 8–17 in their placement and in the community — routines, education, activities and keeping things calm and consistent.

Nights, rota-based

Waking Night Support Worker

Overnight presence and reassurance, safeguarding checks, recording and handovers so young people wake up to the same familiar, dependable team.

Flexible hours

Semi-Independence Support Worker

Coaching 16+ young people towards independent living — budgeting, cooking, tenancy skills, appointments, employment and education.

Sessional

Outreach & Respite Worker

Planned outreach sessions and short-notice respite that keep placements stable and give families and carers breathing space.

What we ask for

  • A genuine interest in young people and their potential — experience helps, attitude matters more
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can arrange this for you)
  • Two satisfactory references covering your recent work history
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence is an advantage but not essential for all roles

Safer recruitment

Every appointment follows safer recruitment practice: full employment history, enhanced DBS, identity and right-to-work checks, references verified directly with employers, and a values-based interview. Safeguarding sits at the centre of every decision we make.
