Policies, safeguarding & privacy

This page is maintained by LF Pathway Solutions Ltd to answer the questions commissioners, families and staff most often ask about how we work and how we handle information.

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is the first consideration in every placement, shift and decision. All staff complete safeguarding training before working unsupervised, and every team member works to a written safeguarding policy with a named lead.

  • Enhanced DBS checks with the children's barred list for all staff
  • Safer recruitment: full employment history, two references and values-based interviews
  • Concerns escalated same day to the placing authority and, where required, the local safeguarding partnership
  • Out-of-hours escalation route available on every live package

If a child is at immediate risk, call 999. To raise a safeguarding concern with us directly, call 07831 544626 or email Lfpathwaysolutions@gmail.com.

Complaints & whistleblowing

Anyone — a young person, family member, professional or member of staff — can raise a concern. Complaints are acknowledged within 3 working days and responded to in full within 20 working days. Where a complaint involves a safeguarding matter, it is referred to the placing authority immediately.

Staff can raise concerns about practice confidentially under our whistleblowing policy without fear of detriment, and may also contact the NSPCC whistleblowing advice line or Ofsted directly.

Privacy & data protection

LF Pathway Solutions Ltd is the data controller for information submitted through this website. We only collect what you send us.

  • What we collect: the name, organisation, email, phone number and message you enter into our enquiry or application forms.
  • Why: to respond to your referral, enquiry or job application. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest, and consent where you contact us directly.
  • How long: enquiry records are kept for 12 months; recruitment records for 6 months unless you join the team.
  • Who sees it: our directors and, where relevant, the manager handling your enquiry. We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
  • Your rights: you can ask for a copy of your data, correction, or deletion at any time by emailing us.

Care records about young people are held separately under our data protection and confidentiality policy, in line with the placing authority's requirements. You have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
